The Portraitmat was a collaboration with Kyza Presents for Balmy Nights 2024, bringing live art to festivalgoers.

Inspired by retro photo booths of the ’80s, it was constructed from repurposed doors, plywood, a one way see-through mirror, and some paint. This fully dismantlable booth invited visitors to take part in a five-minute portrait session, guided by audio while seated inside, completely unaware of the artist at work.

With the final portrait revealed only at the end, the experience added an element of surprise and anticipation.
